I wrote on Twitter earlier that I had triggered Googles automated query protection CAPTCHA an unusual amount today. I’d say that as of 4PM, I’ve probably seen this page no less than 10-15 times today:

The page reads:
We’re sorry…
… but your query looks similar to automated requests from a computer virus or spyware application. To protect our users, we can’t process your request right now. We’ll restore your access as quickly as possible, so try again soon. In the meantime, if you suspect that your computer or network has been infected, you might want to run a virus checker or spyware remover to make sure that your systems are free of viruses and other spurious software.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope we’ll see you again on Google.
I’ve scanned my system twice and I’m clean as a whistle. The CAPTCHA code on this one made me laugh, though.
If you read it out loud, it’s exactly what I said out loud last time I got this page:

I get that a lot when I run different Keyword programs. Apparently it slams Google with multiple request at a time and then when you go directly to Google you’ll get that error. It’s nothing on your system as far as I can tell.
That’s been my experience with it. Liked the captcha code. LOL
